Beaded
charm bracelets are a wonderful way to create
pieces of individuality. Mix and match beads of
different colors and shapes along with charms.
The design is versatile enough to feature an assortment
of bead sizes and shapes. A great way to start
is to take a look at any leftover or orphaned
beads that you may be able to mix together to
create a fun bracelet.
While the most difficult technique involved is
wire wrapping, the key to creating a professional
looking piece lies in choosing the correct color
combination, correctly proportioned beads, and
proper spacing and distribution.

How to Create Your Own Charm Bracelet
1.
Determine the length of chain required for the desired
finished length of your bracelet, take into consideration
the clasp.
2.
Once you determine the length of your chain, mark this
length on a ruler and layout your beads. A good strategy
is to start with the larger beads and then fill in between
them with smaller beads.
3.
When you are ready to attach your beads onto the chain,
again, start with the larger beads and fill in with
the smaller beads. This will give you an opportunity
to adjust any spacing as you work so that your beads
will be evenly distributed along the length of the chain.
4.
Once all your beads are attached, finish your bracelet
with your choice of a clasp or closure.
